Dr. Erin Ballard grew up on a cattle farm in Marion County, Kentucky. Her undergraduate degree comes from Eastern Kentucky University. After finishing a DMD degree and a Masters in Oral Biology at the University of Louisville, she practiced in Indiana for a bit, but is glad to take an opportunity to come practice closer to home!
As a published clinician she knows the importance of staying on top of the latest research and loves Continuing Education courses. She is an advocate for not only her patient's oral health, but also understands its connection to overall health. She also has a favorite quote-"A smile is the prettiest thing you can wear"
When away from the office, Dr. Ballard loves to cook; she tries out new recipes practically every week. She adores her family and spends a lot of time doing family pool days and game nights. Dr. Ballard and her husband enjoy all things outdoors. Hiking, running, cycling, rollercoasters and travel are at the top of the list of their favorite things to do. Their Australian Shepherd, Beauregard (Beau for short) is usually just a couple steps behind them on these adventures.
